ORANGE COUNTY, FL – State troopers say they have located a vehicle possibly involved in a fatal pedestrian accident in Orange County, Fox 35 Orlando reports.
The victim, a 55-year-old man, was struck and killed by a Ford Fusion while walking in the area of Hiawassee Road and Coral Cove Road at about 11:30 p.m. Friday. The driver left the scene before authorities arrived.
The Florida Highway Patrol says it has now located a gray 2009 Ford Fusion in Orange County that has significant front-end damage consistent with hitting a pedestrian. The FHP said the owner of the car is cooperating with the investigation.
