ORLANDO, FL – Two people were killed and three others were injured when a car crashed in Orlando Saturday night, according to WKMG.
Police say the vehicle with five people inside slammed into a tree in the area of John Young Parkway and C.R. Smith Street at about 10:30 p.m.
The 17-year-old driver and a 19-year-old passenger died at the scene. The three others in the car were listed in critical condition at an area hospital.
Investigators determined that the driver was going at high speed and making frequent lane changes before losing control and hitting an oak tree.
All lanes of John Young Parkway were closed at C.R. Smith Street for the investigation into the wreck.
